When to use
Anchor links are most effective when the content on a page is extensive. They can help users navigate through long content and increase the discoverability of content that requires a long scroll to find.
Guidelines
Anchor links should be used on pages that have a lot of content. Before adding anchor links to make a longer piece of content more manageable, first consider if the content could be shortened.
