Unordered List

A list of items displayed in bullet points without any specific order or ranking.

When to use

Use unordered lists on websites when presenting information where the sequence or ranking doesn’t matter.

Guidelines

  • Keep list items parallel in structure – if one item starts with a verb, they all should.
  • For fragments, you can skip periods, but be consistent. For complete sentences, include proper punctuation.
  • Each list item should contain related information that logically belongs together.
