An image that stretches across the full content width of the page. It has an optional caption.

When to use

Full width images can be used to add visual impact to a page. They can also be used as section dividers to break up content and provide visual breathing room.

High-quality images should be used but avoid using large files that could impact performance. Captions can be used to provide context about an image. Captions can also include image citation.

Include alternative text on images.
